คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร
1.มีสัญชาติไทย
2.สำเร็จการศึกษาชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย หรือเทียบเท่า หรือเป็นนักเรียนที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายปีที่ 6
3.มีประวัติ ผลงาน และความสามารถทางกีฬาดีเด่นในระดับใดระดับหนึ่ง ดังต่อไปนี้
3.1เป็นนักกีฬาตัวแทนทีมชาติไทย
3.2เป็นนักกีฬาตัวแทนเยาวชนทีมชาติไทย
4.มีความประพฤติดี มีความขยันหมั่นเพียร มีวินัย และยังฝึกซ้อมกีฬาอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่องสม่ำเสมอ
5.ผู้สมัครจะต้องมีคุณสมบัติตามระเบียบข้อบังคับ ว่าด้วยการศึกษาชั้นปริญญาตรีของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ดังนี้
5.1ไม่เคยต้องโทษตามคำพิพากษาของศาล เว้นแต่กรณีโทษนั้นเกิดจากความผิดอันได้กระทำโดยประมาท หรือความผิดอันลหุโทษ
5.2ไม่เคยเป็นผู้มีความประพฤติเสียหาย
5.3ไม่เป็นคนวิกลจริต และไม่เป็นโรคติดต่อร้ายแรง หรือโรคอื่นที่สังคมรังเกียจ
5.4ไม่เคยถูกคัดชื่อออกจากสถาบันการศึกษาเพราะความผิดทางวินัย
6.ต้องเป็นนักกีฬา ดังนี้ ฟุตบอล วอลเลย์บอล บาสเกตบอล รักบี้ฟุตบอล ตะกร้อ ยูโด ยิงปิน แบดมินตัน เทควันโด กีฬาทางน้ำ(ว่ายน้ำและโปโลน้ำ) เรือพาย เทนนิส ดาบสากล กรีฑา คาราเต้-โด เทเบิลเทนนิส กอล์ฟ โบล์ลิ่ง ลีลาศ เปตอง มวย(มวยไทยและมวยสากล) กีฬาซอฟท์บอลและเบสบอล หมากล้อม หมากกระดาน ครอสเวิร์ด
หลักฐานการสมัคร
1.ใบสมัครที่กรอกข้อความสมบูรณ์ พร้อมทั้งติดรูปถ่ายในช่องติดรูป
2.หลักฐานรับรองการศึกษา จำนวน 1 ชุด
2.1ผู้ที่สำเร็จการศึกษามัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย หรือผู้ที่สอบเทียบได้แล้วให้ใช้ระเบียนแสดงผลการศึกษา(รบ.1)ฉบับจริง พร้อมสำเนา 1 ชุด
2.2ผู้ที่กำลังศึกษาชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายปีที่ 6 ให้ใช้สำเนาระเบียนแสดงผลการเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายตั้งแต่ภาคแรก จนสิ้นสุดภาคปลายของชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โดยระบุคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสม
3.ประกาศนียบัตร หรือหลักฐานแสดงประวัติผลงานการแข่งขันในระดับนานาชาติ โดยนายกสมาคมหรือเลขาธิการสมาคม เป็นผู้รับรองพร้อมประทับตราสมาคมกีฬา (ฉบับจริงพร้อมสำเนา)ผลงานก่อนปี 2551 นำมาสมัครไม่ได้
4.สำเนาบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนที่รับรองสำเนาถูกต้อง จำนวน 1 ชุด

1.พิจารณาจากคุณสมบัติ
2.การสัมภาษณ์
สิทธิที่ได้รับ
1.ขณะที่ศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ได้รับเหรียญทอง เหรียญเงิน เหรียญทองแดง เหรียญใดเหรียญหนึ่งในการแข่งขันกีฬาโอลิมปิกเกมส์ หรือกีฬามหาวิทยาลัยโลก หรือได้รับเหรียญทอง เหรียญเงิน เหรียญใดเหรียญหนึ่งในการแข่งขันกีฬาเอเชี่ยนเกมส์ จะได้รับการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษาต่าง ๆ ตลอดหลักสูตรในระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท ปริญญาเอก
2.ขณะที่ศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และเข้าแข่งขันกีฬาไม่เป็นไปตามข้อ 1 จะได้รับการยกเว้นค่าบำรุงการศึกษา ค่าหน่วยกิต และค่าธรรมเนียมพิเศษคณะ ในภาคการศึกษาถัดไป
