ซึ่งในจุดนี้ ถือว่าเป็นความพยายามขั้นแรกในการลดการใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้า แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน ทางริโก้ยังได้คิดค้นหลักการใช้ชุดความร้อนที่เป็นเทคโนโลยีแบบ IH Control ในเครื่องพิมพ์ ที่ปรับเปลี่ยนการใช้หลอดไฟจากเดิม ที่ใช้งานสองหลอด เพื่อผลิตพลังงานความร้อน กระจายไปยังโทนเนอร์ ให้เกิดไฟฟ้าสถิตในการถ่ายเอกสาร เหลือเพียงหลอดเดียว ที่ทำงานร่วมกับพลังงานจากแผ่นสนามแม่เหล็ก ช่วยแผ่กระจายความร้อนให้ทั่วถึงลูกกลิ้งรีดอัด
ทำให้เมื่อมีการลดการใช้งานหลอดไฟภายในเครื่อง นอกจากจะประหยัดพลังงานแล้ว ยังช่วยควบคุมในเรื่องของความร้อนที่แผ่ออกมาจากเครื่องถ่ายเอกสาร ทำให้ องค์กรไม่จำเป็นต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มเติมสำหรับระบบเครื่องปรับอากาศ เป็นต้น
นอกจากเรื่องของการประหยัดพลังงานแล้ว ริโก้ ยังช่วยให้ผู้ใช้ประหยัดเวลาในการดูแล และตรวจสอบการทำงานของเครื่อง ถ่ายเอกสาร ร่วมกับเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ จากเทคโนโลยีการจัดการและตรวจสอบสถานะเครื่องแทนผู้ใช้ อย่างซอฟต์แวร์ @Remote ที่ช่วยลดขั้นตอนและความยุ่งยากในการจัดการบำรุงรักษาเครื่อง คอยเป็นผู้ช่วยในการแจ้งเหตุขัดข้องให้แก่ส่วนบริการ ทำให้ธุรกิจสามารถเดินหน้าต่อไปได้
