Loading ...ผศ.นพ.เฉลิมชัย บุญยะลีพรรรณ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ (มศว) เปิดเผยว่า ตามที่ศธ.ได้กำหนดระเบียบคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการจัดการศึกษาสำหรับคนพิการ ประกอบกับมศวทำงานด้านเด็กที่มีความต้องการพิเศษมายาวนาน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องทางด้านสายตา ทางการได้ยิน ความบกพร่องทางร่างกายและสุขภาพ สมาธิสั้น บกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ จึงทำให้ถึงเวลาที่เราจะจัดตั้งศูนย์บริการสำหรับนิสิต พิการ หรือ Disability Support Service Center (DSS)อย่างเป็นทางการ เพื่อเสริมสร้างสนับสนุนโอกาสการศึกษาการเรียนรู้ให้นิสิตพิการอย่างเต็ม ศักยภาพของเขา ศูนย์บริการสำหรับนิสิตพิการหรือนิสิตที่มีความต้องการพิเศษจะทำหน้าที่ บริการ ช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนทางด้านการศึกษาแก่นิสิต ให้นิสิตสามารถเรียนรู้ร่วมกันกับคนปกติได้โดยให้เกิดปัญหาน้อยที่สุด
นอกจากนี้จะทำการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและกระบวนการเรียนรู้ที่เหมาะสม ผลิตงานวิจัยและองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ ส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการประกอบอาชีพ ประสานงานกับหน่วยงานทั้งภายนอกและภายใน จัดหาสื่อและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสำหรับนิสิต ในนิสิตที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็น บกพร่องทางการได้ยิน บกพร่องทางร่างกาย สมาธิสั้น บกพร่องทางการเรียนรู้ โดยศูนย์บริการจะทำการบันทึกและสำเนาเทปการเรียน บริการVCD /MP3 บริการเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ บริการขยายขนาดตัวอักษร สอนเสริม การอ่านข้อสอบให้ ช่วยจดคำบรรยาย บริการอาสาสมัครเพื่อนช่วยเรียน ให้คำปรึกษาและแนะนำโดยเฉพาะสิทธิประโยชน์ที่นิสิตควรจะได้รับ บริการล่ามภาษามือ
“ซึ่งนิสิตที่มีความต้องการพิเศษใน ทุกประเภทต้องมาลงทะเบียนกรอกประวัติในการขอรับบริการจากศูนย์บริการนิสิตฯ จากนั้นผู้ประสานงานของศูนย์จะทำการช่วยเหลือนิสิตตามขั้นตอนและวิธีการซึ่ง ขึ้นอยู่กับประเภทของความต้องการของนิสิต ซึ่งการเกิดศูนย์บริการสำหรับนิสิตที่มีความต้องการพิเศษนั้นจะทำให้ผู้ที่ มีความต้องการพิเศษในด้านต่างๆ ใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีความสุขและดำรงชีวิตร่วมกับคนปกติได้ และเปิดพื้นที่ เปิดโอกาสให้กับพวกเขาอย่างแท้จริง การให้โอกาสในลักษณะนี้จะช่วยลดปัญหาสังคมได้ด้วย” อธ. กล่าวทิ้งท้าย
